#CALL INTUIT ONLINE PAYROLL FOR MAC HOW TO#
( I do not believe it's on the Mac side b/c I know how to import files.if they EXIST.) I have another pay run coming up on 7/2, I'm desperate for a fix or a link of who can help me. (this issue is IN the QB Online Payroll Core area (b/c it says it exports but it doesn't.). All looks good when you do it, but nothing exports!!! Which is the major issue here, since you just said above that "export" is a one time process, with zero option to try again and again, when you realize that NOTHING is getting exported.

Since there aren't files being exported and the software says that it is, I don't want to do another pay run with this same issue. I feel like I've said the issue in so many different ways, but everyone just says, sorry, I don't have access to help you since you use a Mac, or since you use intuit payroll, or since you are now in the online qb payroll.WHO CAN HELP ME? I've tried everything. What do you suggest I say via chat help (since I've already spent over 10 hrs since there is zero option to speak to a person in real time). For whatever reason, no one on the HELP CHAT area whether it be desktop for Mac, qb online payroll core, qb online, intuit online payroll, NO ONE has been able to see what the issue is or help me. It says it exported, but there is no file anywhere to import into qb desktop for Mac. I have looked in downloads, my quickbook locations and ran advanced searches on my computer. There is no "iff" file anywhere on my computer. Unfortunately, That right there is the issue.

The FIRST thing I need help with is how can you override the Export option in QBOP? Once something has already been exported (even the file never sent or can be found) I need to export it again… SECOND, can someone please fix this issue? I have another company I do payroll for and I’m terrified to upgrade to QBOP from the IOP option through Desktop for MAC b/c it’s NOT WORKING and I can’t find any help from anyone. OMG, I’ve been bounced around for 10 hours with zero help. The answer I get is, I’m sorry, you need to contact QB for Mac, then the Mac side says - I’m sorry, you need to contact QB Online Payroll, Oh I’m sorry, you need to contact Intuit Online Payroll. I have been on “CHAT” with intuit/quickbooks for over 10 hours total over the last 3 days and no one can help me. When I click on export, it says “nothing to be exported.” When I go back to the payroll I ran for 6/18, it says “yes” under exported and doesn’t give you a override option to RE-export it. I then tried to go and RE-export the files. Voila…NO WHERE TO BE FOUND ON MY COMPUTER. I said yes, hit the button, it said it exported it. I made sure my export setting was set to “export files to desktop for Mac (IFF) format” and once I was done with my first payroll run, It asked me if I wanted to export. I successfully ran my first payroll on the new QBOP platform. I was forced to leave Intuit Online Payroll and join QB Online Payroll Core. To download import kits, you can refer to this article: IIF Overview: import kit, sample files, and headers.īefore you import, I encourage you to back up your company file for future use. Then, import them to your QBDT for Mac company file. To send your payroll data to QBDT for Mac, you'll have to manually export your file from QBO. The QBOP version is both payroll and accounting software combined. Let me share details for sending the IIF file from QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP) to QuickBooks for Mac, and QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac are two different platforms.
